    San Francisco 49ers
    Week 6-9 review

San Francisco came into week 6 with a chance to improve their record to 3-3 against the tough Arizona Cardinals. The two teams battled in an intense game (3 restarts due to EA) The Cardinals jumped out to a 21-10 lead and seemed to take command of the game when KR LaMichael James took the kickoff back for a score trimming the Cardinals lead to 21-17 and putting the 49ers back into the game. The 49ers would eventually take a 28-24 lead in the 4th quarter only to see the Cardinals leave with a 34-28 hard fought victory and much respect for this 49ers team. The next match-up between the two teams should again be an epic contest. In week 7 the 49ers traveled to the music city to battle the Tennessee Titans. The Titans came out and had some turnover issues which put most of the momentum on the 49ers side and the 49ers used that momentum to get a 30-10 victory over the always tough Tennessee Titans improving the 49ers record to 3-4. The next team up for the 49ers was the Jacksonville Jaguars led by zoufan (former division rival back in the day!). The Jaguars came out in some sweet uniforms. The 49ers were able to move the ball well offensively and the 49ers defense had the Jaguars struggling to gain yards early as the 49ers jumped out to a lead. The Jaguars battled almost all the way back trailing 38-31 in the 4th qtr. The 49ers scored a TD making the lead 45-31 with a few minutes to go when EA struck (lost connection/DC) The 49ers had to play the dreaded CPU it was way to close for 3 qtrs in the 4th the 49ers pulled away for a 42-24 win improving the 49ers to 4-4 back to .500. The trade deadline was here and the 49ers wanted to make some moves. WR Michael Crabtree who has expressed some displeasure in his role in the offense was dealt to the New Orleans Saints and bigregg who has wanted Crabtree since Madden13. The 49ers received New Orleans 1st rd pick, DT Brodrick Bunkley, and WR Nick Toon. Bunkley will start at DT and 2nd yr WR Nick Toon will see action in the WR rotation. The 49ers play the Carolina Panthers in week 10. This should be a good game as WR Anquan Boldin makes his return from the broken collarbone that has sidelined him for 7 weeks.
