RB Frank Gore- Gore ran the bell very well last season when he wasn't injured. If he can stay healthy the Lions will win a lot of football games.

TE Brandon Pettigrew- Pettigrew lacks the speed that most GMs desire in a starting tight end but he's the best run blocking tight end in the league and still a valuable weapon in the passing game and will be a great safety option for young QB Colin Kaepernik.


2 Key Defensive Players:

LB Brian Urlacher- The Lions switched to a 3-4 defense and brought in Brian Urlacher to an already dangerous LB core.

SS Kam Chancellor- This 6'3" strong safety has the coverage skills needed to guard against the deep ball and can also help stop the run.

Getting rid of 4-3 personnell for Brian Urlacher.
