Running up the score and stat padding Empty Running up the score and stat padding

Post by VanFlank Thu Sep 13, 2012 3:12 pm

It has come to our attention that some people have been stat padding and running the score up on opponents. (yes ovf did - but had all backups in)

Let take this opportunity to remind owners...

    1. When you play CPU and you are up 24-28 - put in your backups - run the clock down - run the ball with said backups.

    2. When you play a human put in backups and follow the same guidelines as point 1.

If I see a scoreboard where your stats are inflated and your backups are not in the game you will be fined. I know we need XP but we all know where to draw the line.

1st offence - 2 game suspension of a player (commish choice)
2nd offence - 2 games where your team is on auto
3rd firing of coach , removal of all accumulated XP. Rejoin as new coach.

I didn't really stat pad and king will tell you I didn't do nothing to score more or get bigger stats, took all players out(Some came back in for fatigue reason) and I got ball on his side of field most of game.

had 40 rushing attempts for <90 yards hints trying to keep it down

ok now that I explained myslef

    VS CPU

Try things out on Offense and defense

Things we don't want to see

QB with 5+ TDs or alot of attempts despite winning by 30

Running backs with 200+ yards or alot of attempts despite winning big

    and so and so

Vs cpu if your up or big its nt that hard to pause and sub in backups

If your up 30 and have held the opposing team to 50 yards of offense its pretty clear you don't need to have a starter score

I agree. However, I am one of the few that if I am down big I keep playing and don't give up. I sometimes want them throwing to see if I can get a INT etc. I will abide by the rules and wont stat pad and place backups in

Tough not to run up score when opp keeps throwing the ball.
