NFC Playoff Race Empty NFC Playoff Race

Post by DoublexClutch Mon Oct 05, 2015 5:04 pm

NFC North Winner- Detroit Lions, Tactic Mario 9-1

Tactic has his Lions humming on all points right now winning their last 7 games. Playmakers Calvin Johnson and Abdullah lead a balanced attack to the 3rd highest scoring team in the league. Stafford has done an incredible job of not turning the ball over having only 9 picks, combine that with a ball hawking D and the Lions have a NFC best +17 turnover differential. His 4-0 record in the division including 2 wins vs 2nd place Vikings means Tactic should cruise to the playoffs, his first as a member of Dwho.

NFC South Winner- Atlanta Falcons, King 8-2

Boosting one of the best passing attacks in the league King is sitting in prime position to win the division over outspoken favorite No1draftpick. Jones has be good enough to make up for a lackluster running game and a turnover prone Matt Ryan. The defensive numbers for Falcons are a little troubling as the have the 2nd worst pass D in the league. It will be interesting if King can continue to find ways to win if he plays teams that are able to take away Jones but it looks like that question will have be answered in the playoffs because King has a 3 game lead with only 6 to play.

NFC West Winner- Arizona Cardinals, Noexult 8-2

The true front runner for this division will not be determined until week 13 when the Cards battle it out with the Rams. There is no reason to fear the offense that the Cards bring to the field but their D is one of the best in the league holding teams to the 5th fewest point per game this season. If noexult can repeat a win over the Rams like he did in week 4 he will have to hope his D is good enough to limit some the explosive offenses he is bound to see in the playoffs.

NFC East Winner- Who the Fuck Knows

Each of the contenders will have a bit in the wildcard section but right now everything is up in the air as their is a 3 way tie between Bundy, dickface and Double Clutch mean that this divison is just too close to call. This weeks game's could go a long way in deciding the outcome as Bundy and Double square off and Waffle has a thought test vs the Lions. Oh and as if that wasn’t murky enough zuke lurks right behind at 5-5.

    Fighting for the Wildcard

    St.Louis Rams MoneyMarty 8-2-1
The Rams have put together a solid year and could still manage to win the division, if not they might have to settle for a wildcard spot. Marty is one of the true old school football coaches believing in defense and a strong run game. Gurley leads the 4th best rushing attack and is a strong candidate for NFC OROY. The Rams ability to keep other teams offense’s off the field with the run game shows up in the 4 best scoring defense in the league. While Marty would like to win the division, just making the playoffs is a great achievement and he should be able to do that.

    Minnesota Vikings AlwaysRushing 7-3

With how good Tactic has been year is looks like Rushing will be battling it out for a wildcard spot. I wonder if the Vikings and Cowboys wish they could take back the AP trade. The Vikings have struggled to do much offensively particularly on the ground where they manage a mere 71 yards a game. The defense is the only reason this team can dream of the playoffs as the have allowed the fewest points against them this year. With a one game lead over the rest of the field the D must continue it’s stellar play.

    New York Giants TouchdownBundy 6-4

While The Giants currently sit in a tie for first place it will be hard to stay there unless Manning picks up his play. He has 16 picks to only 11 TDs and has failed to make enough use out of cover vote WR Odel Beckham Jr. The defense is the calling card for this team a they rank in the top half of points, pass d, rush d and total d. Their D has mange to keep them on the right side for the win column but without help from the offense margin for error seems too small to win the division or get a wildcard spot.

    Philadelphia Eagles dickface 6-4

The Tim Tebow experience has been a mix bag this season. Sometimes he makes all the throws and while offering the threat that he can pull it down and move the chains with his feet. Other times he is the Tebow that was out of football, throwing 17 picks. The D has be good his year allow the 5th fewest yards per game this season. The question is can Tebow use his magic to lead the Eagles on a playoffs run seems like a tall order when they are facing the always consistent Bundy and the seems to be peaking at the right time Double.

    Washington Redskins DoublexClutch 6-4

With RG3 finding his game this year a passer under coach DoublexClutch the Redskins have the sights set on the division. Since returning from injury RG has led the Skins to two blowout wins including a smack down of fierce rival DP who has not been seen in a party since. One of the biggest concerns for this team is injuries. While the rest of the league wonders if injuries are even on the Skins had been hit hard with RG missing time and Reed and Crowder both on the shelf for the next few weeks. If this team can continue their hot streak (7-1 in last 8 games) and get healthy they could do more than just win the Division.

    Seattle Seahawks Baddass/CPU 6-4

It seems stupid to include a team that is 1-4 in games where he plays a human but as it stands that is where he is at. With one wins vs cpu Bengals and an incredible 4-0 record in sims baddass is showing it is better to pick a good team and not play than to be good at madden. I would say shots fired but seeing as baddass in almost never on the site he is unlikely to see this post.

    Outside looking in

    Dallas Cowboys Zuke Zuchegno 5-5

the Cowboys are going to have a hard time making to the top of the division or the wildcard as they struggled to win vs their division.

New Orleans Saints No1xDrft Pck 5-5

Oh how the mighty have fallen. After proclaiming his greatness that this is going to be the year of dp and publicly calling out DxC before their game, DP is looking for some to hide and regroup. Maybe this post will be the wake up call he needs to go on a late season run or maybe this will just be the year of the overrated DP.(shots fired)
